Turner Highlands golf course first opened in 1993 as a nine hole layout. The course was expanded to 18 holes in 1997. The course designers were Steve Leavitt and Fred West.
Turner Highlands golf course is a somewhat narrow course that was built in the center of an apple orchard. The course was built atop two hills with scenic views of fields and mountains. The large greens are slightly sloped and medium speed. The tee boxes are elevated. More than 175 new Blue Spruce trees have been planted to make the course more demanding. Many holes have out-of-bounds stakes lining the fairways and there is a well-defined cut of rough as well.
Turner Highlands golf course plays to 6,033 yards from the backt tees. The course rating is 68.6 with a slope rating of 115. Par for the course is 71.
